PL's Top Player Named Monday, May 30th, 2016 The top batter in the Pacific League last week was Kata Nishikawa, who batted .375 and towered above everybody with a 5-game hitting barrage. During the week Nishikawa banged out a .375 batting average (6-16), 4 home runs, 8 runs batted in and scored 9 runs. Today the Fukuoka SoftBank right fielder received the PL Player of the Week Award. This year Nishikawa is batting .389 with 13 home runs. |
