Hayashi Acclaimed Top Pitcher in April Sunday, May 1st, 2016 33-year-olds don't often go 2-0 in and haul away the the best pitcher award, but Masamune Hayashi did all that. Now, he's the toast of the Pacific League. Today he was crowned the Pitcher of the Month for April. In 5 starts he posted a 1.13 ERA and struck out 36 batters in 32 innings. |
