Hiroshima Toyo Ace Wins CL Cy Young Award Monday, October 26th, 2015 The Cy Young Award for 2015 has been presented and the Central League winner is Yodo Moriguchi of Hiroshima Toyo. "It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Moriguchi. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Carp star told reporters. Moriguchi excelled with an impressive 15-3 record in 25 starts. In 168.1 innings he yielded 92 hits and 38 walks, while striking out 212 and compiling a fine 1.55 ERA. |
