Suzuki Named Top PL Hurler Wednesday, July 1st, 2015 31-year-olds don't often go 3-0 in and haul away the the best pitcher award, but Katsumoto Suzuki did all that. Now, he's the toast of the Pacific League. Today he was crowned the Pitcher of the Month for June. In 5 starts he posted a 1.56 ERA and struck out 37 batters in 34.2 innings. Suzuki has made 14 starts so far this year and put up a 9-0 won-lost record with a 1.62 ERA. In 94.1 innings he has allowed 69 hits, walked 10 and struck out 116. |
