Kikunojo Yamashita Says Farewell to Baseball Friday, June 26th, 2015 Kikunojo Yamashita of the Chiba Lotte Marines announced his retirement from Nippon Baseball League today. The 36-year-old veteran told reporters that he has enjoyed his time playing ball, but that it is time for someone else to have a shot. "It's a young man's game," Yamashita said, "and I'm not a young man anymore." |
