Player of the Week Trophy to Yamaguchi Monday, June 8th, 2015 This week Pacific League pitching was a feast fit for a king and Yoritomo Yamaguchi really made the most of it -- ripping them royally. The talented Hokkaido Nippon-Ham hitting machine produced a .467 batting average, 3 home runs, 7 hits in 15 at-bats, 8 RBIs and 3 runs. That kind of hitting earned him the PL Player of the Week honors. Currently Yamaguchi is batting .350 with 14 home runs and 46 RBIs. |
