CL Announces Best Pitcher for July Thursday, August 1st, 2013 Reijiro Yamaguchi has made fans throughout Nippon Baseball League take notice over the past month with an exceptional 4-0 record. No pitcher in the Central League threw better in July, garnering him the Pitcher of the Month award today. In 5 starts Yamaguchi compiled a 3.19 ERA, putting up a 4-0 record, striking out 49 and tossing 31 innings. On the season Yamaguchi has 12 wins and 2 losses and a 2.73 ERA. |
