CL Awards Best Batter Prize to Yokoyama Monday, July 29th, 2013 It was some kind of week for Nobuhisa Yokoyama of the Chunichi Dragons. First he hits the heck out of the ball, ripping it at a .500 clip and the next thing you know, he is voted the Player of the Week in the Central League. Last week Yokoyama went 7-14, chalked up 3 home runs and 8 RBIs and scored 5 runs. Not a bad week's work at all. In this current campaign Yokoyama is hitting at a .364 clip with 24 home runs and 72 RBIs. |
