Yamashita Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Sunday, June 23rd, 2013 Masakado Yamashita continues to hit at a blistering pace. For 20 straight games he has had at least one hit. Yamashita did it again today with 1 hit in the Yokohama triumph over Hanshin. The Bay Stars defeated the Tigers 5-4 at Cuckoos Stadium. Masakado Yamashita struck out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th and struck out in the 6th. This season Yamashita is hitting .333 with 6 home runs. |
