Lugo Takes LBL #1 Pitcher Trophy Tuesday, May 1st, 2018 Over the past month Esteban Lugo has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Lester B. Person League. He proved all that and now he's been named April's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Victoria Capitals posted 6-0 mark and a 1.64 ERA. In 6 starts he tossed 44 innings, permitted 33 hits and fanned 36 batters. On the year Lugo has worked 72.1 innings with 70 strikeouts en route to a 6-1 record and 1.99 ERA. |
