Castillo Sticks it to LBL Pitchers Monday, April 23rd, 2018 18-year-old Ramón Castillo made a few Kelowna headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Lester B. Person League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 13 hits in 24 at-bats to put up a .542 average. Castillo collected 2 home runs, 11 RBIs and scored 8 runs. Castillo on the season is hitting .350 with 7 home runs. His stats include 40 RBIs and 36 runs scored. |
