May's Best Hurler in LBL is Rousseau Friday, June 1st, 2012 There's something about a young rookie winning the Lester B. Person League Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Stéphane Rousseau, a 23-year-old starter for the Victoria Capitals. In May, he topped off the month with a 5-1 mark and 2.33 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 46.1 innings, fanned 26 and held opposing teams to a .223 average. This year Rousseau has 8 wins and 3 losses and a 2.67 ERA. |
