Carpentier Sizzles with 20-Game Batting Streak Thursday, April 21st, 2016 Michel Carpentier's bat has been smoking lately as he went 2-for-5 in today's 11-1 triumph over Kelowna at Brantford College Grounds. The 22-year-old left fielder for the Niagara Stars has now hit safely in 20 consecutive games. Michel Carpentier struck out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, walked in the 6th, flied out in the 8th and singled in the 9th. In the 2016 season Carpentier is hitting .341 with 2 home runs. |
