LBL Best Mound Performer Named Saturday, July 5th, 2014 The Lester B. Person League announced today that Calvin Thierry has been chosen the Cy Young Award winner for 2014. The London hurler had everything working for him as he cruised to a outstanding 8-2 record. Thierry put up an impressive 2.42 ERA in his award-winning season. He started 12 times, worked 74.1 innings, yielded 64 hits, walked 18, fanned 68 and held opposing hitters to a .229 average. |
