LBL Starter of the Month Goes to Philibert Sunday, June 1st, 2014 Over the past month Ilies Philibert has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Lester B. Person League. He proved all that and now he's been named May's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Niagara Stars posted 5-0 mark and a 2.70 ERA. In 7 starts he tossed 43.1 innings, permitted 35 hits and fanned 44 batters. In 14 starts this season Philibert has chalked up a 8-1 record and a 3.68 ERA. |
