Niagara SS Simon Will Miss 4-5 Months Monday, May 5th, 2014 The Niagara Stars will have to make do without Kyllian Simon for 4-5 months. He suffered a torn labrum while colliding with a player at a base in the game today against the Kelowna Heat. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the shortstop. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." Simon has collected 26 hits for the Stars this year, 2 of them home runs. He has also netted 14 RBIs and scored 19 runs while batting .232. |
