League Suspends Cruz, Failed Drug Test Wednesday, August 15th, 2012 League officials slapped Missouri first baseman Wilson Cruz with a 10-game suspension. The 18-year-old player tested positive for a banned substance. His suspension will go into effect today. The Tigers organization issued a statement yesterday calling the situation "unfortunate." Cruz had no comment for the press. |
