No Recovery For Bulldogs Craig, Setback Forces Him Out Sunday, July 22nd, 2012 Doctors told Johnny Craig at the outset that his injury was potentially career-ending. As it happens, they were right. The Georgia starting pitcher informed his team that he would have to give up baseball and retire. Craig's injury, a torn labrum, was just too severe for him to continue his career as a player. The 20-year-old Craig told reporters he hopes to remain in baseball in some capacity in the Bulldogs organization. |
