Cal State Fullerton Reliever Hurt
Wednesday, April 18th, 2018
The Cal State Fullerton Titans will have to make do without Miguel Salazar for 4 months. He suffered a ruptured finger tendon while throwing a pitch in the game today against the Mississippi State Bulldogs. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the reliever. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back."
Here are his stats for this season: Salazar has chalked up no saves and fashioned a record of 4 wins and 3 losses with a 8.71 ERA. He has made 15 relief appearances, thrown 20.2 innings and struck out 20.
