Ray Slams 3 Homers for Bulldogs Thursday, April 5th, 2018 Every now and then, the right things happen at the right time. Corbin Ray discovered that when he smashed three homers at Field of the Plunder during today's 13-4 win over the Wake Forest Demon Deacans. The Georgia right fielder said in the postgame interview, "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them. The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Ray finished the day with 3 hits in 3 at-bats and 6 RBIs. Corbin Ray hit a three-run home run off Yury Abzgildin in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Greg Peters in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, walked in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Pat Logan in the 8th. Currently Ray has 13 home runs and a .315 batting average. |
