Ortíz Rips Tulane for 5 Hits Sunday, March 11th, 2018 Mississippi State second baseman Alejandro Ortíz went 5-for-6 today and paced the Bulldogs to a 12-4 victory over the Tulane Green Wave at Berthoud College Grounds. Alejandro Ortíz singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Ray Ferguson in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. Thus far this year Ortíz is hitting .393 with 4 home runs, 13 RBIs and 8 runs scored. |
