Poole's Great Year Nets Cy Young Award Monday, May 22nd, 2017 20-year-old Howard Poole of the Arkansas Razorbacks put together a good year in 2017 for such a young player. Poole was named today as the winner of the Skip Bertman League Cy Young Award. Poole crafted an impressive 8-0 record and a 1.97 ERA. In 68.2 innings he allowed 48 hits, struck out 88, and walked 13. |
