Skipper Ito Is out in Arizona State Thursday, May 11th, 2017 The general manager of the Arizona State Sun Devils today fired his manager, Yutaka Ito, citing "failure to utilize all elements of his roster properly." Speaking to reporters while cleaning out his office, Ito was asked to comment on that assessment. He responded, "Part of a team's success comes from the talent that is put on the field every day. It's common knowledge that the Sun Devils are missing a few key components. I got the best out of the talent I was given. Maybe the wrong person was fired." |
