Ito Strikes out as Iowa State Manager Thursday, May 11th, 2017 The Iowa State Cyclones and Mitsuzuka Ito have parted ways. It was announced today by club officials that Mitsuzuka Ito had been dismissed as the team's manager. The Cyclones GM told reporters, "We had certain goals that were mutually agreed upon this season and in our estimation, they have not been reached. Our team has not made the progress we were promised." Ito told BNN, "I'm proud of what has been accomplished in my tenure as the Cyclones manager. We have a better club now than when I first got here. I'm just sorry it ended this way." |
