Aguilar's Hit Streak Reaches 32 Games Wednesday, April 19th, 2017 Manuel Aguilar, center fielder for the Wake Forest Demon Deacans, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 32 games with 1 hit in his club's 7-2 victory today over the South Carolina Gamecocks at Scandals Ballpark. Manuel Aguilar struck out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Hugh Martin in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, walked in the 7th and struck out in the 8th. In 38 games Aguilar is hitting .369 this season with 58 hits, 18 home runs, 48 RBIs, 33 walks, .490 OBP and has scored 52 runs. |
