Stanford's Taylor Injured, Out of Lineup Monday, May 14th, 2012 Aaron Taylor had to leave the Cardinals game against Fresno State after suffering a stretched elbow ligament while throwing a pitch. He will be out of the lineup at least 10 months. He told reporters, "I just felt a sharp pain when it happened. I knew there was something wrong." This season Taylor has a 1-2 mark in 8 starts with a 2.64 ERA. He has given up 36 hits in 44.1 innings, struck out 62 and issued 8 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .220 batting average against him. |
