Irate Villegas Suspended 3 Games Monday, April 3rd, 2017 Alabama left fielder Germán Villegas was suspended 3 games for his actions during a recent game against the Wake Forest Demon Deacans. The home plate umpire tossed him after Villegas heatedly disputed a called-third strike. The Crimson Tide said he would begin serving the suspension immediately. Batting .355 to date, Villegas has no home runs and 3 RBIs. |
