Wildcats Reliever Montgomery Hurt
Sunday, April 2nd, 2017
Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against UCLA Bruins, Wildcats reliever Ken Montgomery was injured throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 4-5 months with a torn labrum. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Arizona skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow.

Crunching the numbers on Montgomery for the year, he has made 11 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 0-2 won-lost mark and 20.86 ERA. In pitching 7.1 innings, he has totaled 13 strikeouts and 12 walks.
