When a player gets 5 or more hits in a game, he is honored in the record book and the latest honoree is Aurelio Díaz of the Ole Miss Rebels. He tore up the Stanford Cardinals to the tune of 5 hits in 6 at-bats in the Ole Miss 10-4 win today at Surfers Ballpark. "Díaz was a tough out today," the Stanford manager said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."
