Ruckus Reaps 10-Game Suspensions Monday, March 27th, 2017 After an intense confrontation, both the Owls Allen Corrigan and the Ducks Chad Ross were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Rice-Oregon game. Both players will miss 10 games as a result of their actions. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Allen Corrigan commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Thus far this year Corrigan is batting .354 with 4 home runs, 12 RBIs and 17 runs scored. In 5 starts this season Ross has recorded a 1-1 record and a 5.40 ERA. |
