Carlos Torrez Out 9 Months Sunday, March 26th, 2017 Fresno State reliever Carlos Torrez left today's game with a stretched elbow ligament. The injury looked like it occurred throwing a pitch in the game against South Mississippi. One fan said, "As soon as it happened, you could tell something was wrong." The injury will likely leave the Bulldogs without Torrez for about 9 months. This year Torrez has earned no saves, worked 12 innings, fanned 8 hitters and recorded a 1.50 ERA. He has also put up a 1-0 won-lost mark. |
