Wolverines Stop Larrison at 20
Wednesday, March 22nd, 2017
Ray Larrison, left fielder for the Clemson Tigers, gave it a good try, but his day in history finally came to an end, when he went hitless in 4 tries against the Michigan Wolverines. Not only had they stopped his 20-game hitting streak, they had beaten Clemson 3-2, too.

Speaking with the media after the game, Larrison said, "Now that the streak has ended, I admit I will breathe a bit easier the next time I step up to bat. It was tough because I put a little pressure on myself. Now that it's over, I will definitely be a little bit looser at the plate."

This season Larrison is batting .373 with 11 home runs. His totals include 28 RBIs and 18 runs scored.
