Aguilar Belts 5 Hits Monday, March 6th, 2017 It seemed that Wake Forest center fielder Manuel Aguilar could do no wrong as the Demon Deacans kayoed the Tigers 21-5 today as he rapped out 5 hits in 6 at-bats. Missouri pitchers couldn't get him out as Aguilar seemed to know which pitches they were throwing. "I think the Demon Deacans were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Missouri fan. "I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Aguilar in the postgame press interview. Manuel Aguilar struck out in the 1st, hit a two-run triple in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Zack Bennett in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Will Messer in the 8th. |
