Best Hurler Award Presented by SBL Wednesday, June 15th, 2016 19-year-old Ed Armstrong of the Tennessee Volunteers put together a good year in 2016 for such a young player. Armstrong was named today as the winner of the Skip Bertman League Cy Young Award. Armstrong crafted an impressive 9-1 record and a 1.36 ERA. In 72.2 innings he allowed 44 hits, struck out 119, and walked 13. |
