Wake Forest's Benítez Out 4-5 Months Saturday, May 21st, 2016 It was announced today in Wake Forest that Demon Deacans center fielder Jorge Benítez will be on the mend for 4-5 months because of a torn back muscle he sustained in a recent game against the Kansas Jayhawks. Benítez was injured making a defensive play. In 29 games this year Benítez has posted a .376 average and put up these numbers: 2 home runs, 11 RBIs and 21 runs scored. |
