Teague Sensational, 5-5 Tuesday, May 17th, 2016 No matter what the TCU Horned Frogs threw at him today, Ray Teague hit it. He easily handled Horned Frogs pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Owls to a 15-6 triumph at Toughkenamon College Fields. He told BNN reporters in the postgame interview, "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball." The TCU skipper quipped, "Well, the next time we might just do that... blindfold him... and then pitch him differently, just to be sure." Ray Teague hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Pat Castle in the 7th and singled in the 8th. Currently Teague is batting .294 with 3 home runs and 6 RBIs. |
