Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Wednesday, May 11th, 2016 The league commissioner's office had responded quickly to yesterday's major incident at Biglerville College Fields involving the Sooners Clyde Stapp and the Commodores Scott Cagle. Both players have been given 2-game suspensions for violation of the league code of conduct. The suspensions will be effective immediately. This season Stapp is batting .257 with 1 home run. To this point in the season he has had no saves. Cagle has made 15 relief appearances, tossed 16.2 innings and struck out 20 with a record of 1 win and no losses. |
