Owls Lose Bill Robinson Monday, April 11th, 2016 Whether he wants it or not, Bill Robinson of the Rice Owls will be getting some R & R -- rest and relaxation. The reliever was hurt in today's Owls-Cougars game while throwing a pitch. Team officials announced after the game that Robinson had suffered a torn back muscle and would be out of action for 4-5 months. Robinson has nailed down no saves for the year. He has also totaled 5 strikeouts and 3 walks in 4.2 innings while registering a 5.79 ERA and a 0-0 won-lost record. |
