Great Day for Wolf -- 5 Hits Friday, April 8th, 2016 Mitch Wolf really sizzled at the plate today. In a game played at Castles Ballpark, the Georgia Tech center fielder blistered the Kansas Jayhawks for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace his club to a 13-12 victory. "Wolf was too tough to get out today," the Jayhawks skipper said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Mitch Wolf singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Neal Roberts in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Bill Mitchell in the 8th. This season Wolf has hit at a .419 clip with 10 RBIs, 4 home runs and 12 runs scored. |
