Bad News for Tigers, Thompson Injured Wednesday, April 4th, 2012 Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against Tennessee Volunteers, Tigers starting pitcher Ray Thompson was injured throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 4-5 months with a sore shoulder. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Missouri skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow. |
