Evans Tops RDL Best Hitter List Tuesday, June 17th, 2014 George Evans went on a year-long hitting rampage against Rod Dedeaux League pitchers and collected the Silver Slugger Award for 2014. The LSU right fielder battered the opposition for 68 hits, 11 doubles, no triples, 22 home runs and 59 RBIs, while scoring 41 runs. He hit .370 and posted a .420 on-base percentage. |
