Big Bat Pays Off, McCauley Player of the Week Monday, May 19th, 2014 The marquee name in the Skip Bertman League this week is Brian McCauley of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. The hot-hitting 21-year-old right fielder put up a .500 average and .567 on-base percentage, piling up 13 hits in 26 at-bats, 6 home runs, 9 RBIs and 8 runs scored. That kind of hitting got him the SBL Player of the Week honors. So far this year McCauley is batting .349 with 19 home runs. |
