Hall Hit String Snapped at 20 Thursday, May 15th, 2014 All good things must come to an end -- and so it was today for Lance Hall as he saw his 20-game hitting streak end. He went hitless in 3 at-bats at the hands of the Sun Devils. It wasn't all bad for the 21-year-old right fielder and the Stanford Cardinals, as they defeated Arizona State 6-0 at Ballpark of Aptos Hills-Larkin Valley College. When asked about his hitting streak, a smiling Hall laughed and said, "I guess my luck ran out today." This season in 40 games, Hall has hit at a .241 clip with 39 hits, 3 home runs, 14 RBIs and 22 runs scored. |
