Mastroianni Brilliant, Fans 16 Monday, May 13th, 2013 It was a 16-K day for Oregon State pitcher Joël Mastroianni at Palisades Ballpark today. He really put on a show in beating the Stanford Cardinals 19-2. Mastroianni had his good stuff and good location and that was good enough to chalk up a Beavers victory. He gave up 5 hits in the game and issued no walks in a strong performance. Up to now Mastroianni has recorded a record of 4-1. In 8 starts he has fanned 90 batters in 59.2 innings with a 2.87 ERA. |
