Doré of Bethesda Player of the Week Monday, September 24th, 2012 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the August Herrman League, but last week John Doré of the Bethesda Hornets reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Doré rocked opposing pitching for a .407 average (11-27), 4 home runs and 7 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Doré has hit at a .258 clip with 134 hits, 12 home runs, 67 RBIs and 77 runs scored. |
