No Recovery For Panthers Skinner, Setback Forces Him Out Wednesday, December 19th, 2018 Vista left fielder Jason Skinner has been diagnosed with a fractured ankle, an injury so severe that will end his baseball career. "It's very disappointing," Skinner told reporters today. "It was totally unexpected, which makes it a little bit harder to deal with." Doctors originally thought he would have a full recovery. The 23-year-old Skinner has been in treatment and reported he was making great progress, when things suddenly went sour. He told BNN, "It went from good to bad ... and then finally, to the worst case -- doctors said my career is over." |
