AHL Star of the Week Named Monday, July 2nd, 2012 When it came to hitting the baseball, Dwayne Sparks had few peers in the August Herrman League this past week. The talented first baseman for Bethesda tagged opposing pitchers for a .520 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 13 hits in 25 at-bats, 1 homers, 7 runs scored and 5 RBIs. Currently Sparks is batting .297 with 13 home runs and 62 RBIs. |
