Kyoichi Inoue showed how it's done as he went 5 for 5 against the Cherry Hill Stealers and helped the Tempe Titans beat them 12-1. The manager for the Stealers told the BNN sportswriters, "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it. That's the game of baseball. Don't make mistakes and you win a lot more ballgames." If Inoue keeps hitting like this, he could be headed for a big pay raise. Kyoichi Inoue singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, tripled in the 5th, was hit by a pitch in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. This year Inoue is hitting .355 with 6 home runs. |
