Williams's Strong Week Earns AHL Trophy Monday, September 24th, 2018 This week's premier performer in the August Herrman League was left fielder Ron Williams of the Houston Sting. He banged out a .474 average and was voted the Player of the Week. Over the last week Williams socked 9 hits in 19 at-bats and 4 home runs, drove in 12 runs and scored 10 times. For the season Williams is currently batting .320 with 15 home runs and 63 RBIs. In 70 games he has reached base at a .425 rate and scored 50 runs to date. |
