Stealers Pleijt Suffers Injury Sunday, September 16th, 2018 Stacey Pleijt of the Cherry Hill Stealers could be headed for the disabled list after suffering a torn flexor tendon in his elbow in a game against the Vista Panthers. He is expected to miss at least 13 months. The Cherry Hill starting pitcher was injured throwing a pitch. This year Pleijt has a 3-21 mark in 31 starts with a 6.94 ERA. He has given up 199 hits in 150.1 innings, struck out 134 and issued 80 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .313 batting average against him. |
